How to Add DNS Records for Email Authentication

Introduction

To send emails from your custom domain through Cue, your domain needs to be verified. This involves adding three CNAME records to your domain's DNS settings. These records authenticate your emails (SPF and DKIM) so they appear as verified and come directly from your company address.

If you're not sure how to do this yourself, you can forward the email provided in the Cue setup wizard to your IT administrator.

What You'll Need to Add

Cue will provide you with three CNAME records during setup:

Record TypeHost (Name)Points To (Value)
CNAMEem123.yourdomain.comcue.email.stage.cuedesk.com
CNAMEs1._domainkey.yourdomain.coms1._domainkey.email.stage.cuedesk.com
CNAMEs2._domainkey.yourdomain.coms2._domainkey.email.stage.cuedesk.com
💡
Note: The actual values will be unique to your workspace and provided during setup.
